"When we look like Miami, and feel like Saigon, thank Donna and Georgia, Tim, Freddy and Tom,"
sing Compton and Bennett about the Collier County Commission.

Seltzer Pants is the working title of Rick and Betsy's skewer-ful of local meat. The entire name, A Little Song, A Little Dance, A Little Seltzer in Your Pants, is admittedly too long for some attention spans.

In Compton & Bennett's
Seltzer Pants, snowbirds take the opening hit. US Congressman Trey Radel learns "There Ain't No Coke In Rehab". You will learn the magic words to help you survive hurricanes and other big blows. You will wonder if it may be a little too soon for a Michael Jackson song (it's not).

Off the road for the local season, Compton & Bennett have been playing their
Assisted Living: The Musical around the country for anyone who has ever considered aging. The show is enjoying standing-Os from Sedona to the St. Lawrence Seaway, and every restored vaudeville theatre in between that will have it.

New targets include John Morgan who hopes to become to pot what his granpa Cap'n Morgan is to rum. Add The Phil/Artis-Naples/Nu Fils/PB's Saloon and Music Hall debate. And how come so many restaurants can't seem to stay in business for more than one season?  The material changes each week to reflect current events, and audience tastes.

Seltzer Pants is more self-actualized than the Naples Mayor with yet another part-time job. It's more over-the-top than a Port Royal maxi-pad.  It is huger than a Fucilla Kia.

The show is perfect for guests who want to see the "Real Naples." However, (woot-woot! disclaimer alert!) Seltzer Pants doesn't claim to be any more real than political ethics.

A Little Song, A Little Dance, A Little Seltzer in Your Pants is at Fred's Diner most Thursdays during season. It's a dinner show with a delicious three-course dinner (chose the bread pudding for dessert!) served from 5:30. The show starts sometime during the bread pudding course.

Reservations are recommended, and show-only seats are available.

Seltzer Pants is in part a return to Compton & Bennett's local roots.

"Out on The East Trail" is still as relevant as when it was written in the '90's.

And "Migrant Worker Man" continues to make white Republicans squirm like they did when Bush The Younger left office.
